Information about the comic, the site, and various other gritty details.
The comic itself is made entirely using free software, such as the GIMP, running on Ubuntu Linux 10.04. It is drawn with a Wacom Bamboo tablet. The site is coded by hand using various text editors, primarily Gedit but occasionally Scribes.
Shadow Theory utilizes several fonts, three of which are embedded in the site itself and can be seen in the text boxes, headers, and menu if your browser supports CSS3. If you don't notice anything unusual about the fonts, especially if the title image and the top menu do not have matching fonts, your browser does not support CSS3. You should upgrade your browser to get the latest and greatest the web has to offer.
All of these fonts were released as freeware or into the Public Domain.
